HSD introduces Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system for arctic environments

As a part of the development of the outboard elevator project in which the complete technical solution is functional in temperatures as low as -40°C, HSD has developed a specialized Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system that is capable of supplying electrical power in these arctic conditions.

The UPS has the following unique characteristics:

  • Controlled charging of batteries
  • System withstands and functions temperatures as low as -40°C
  • Self-controlled temperature in the cabinet to ensure optimal performance of components
